成立于2002年6月27日的施耐德(苏州)变压器有限公司是施耐德电气与台湾士林电机共同投资兴建的一家主要生产10KV，20KV，315 KVA - 3150 KVA干式变压器的合资厂。该产品在大陆使用梅兰日兰品牌，而对台湾投资者使用士林品牌。新厂一期规划建筑面积6000m2，于2002年9月正式破土动工，2003年2月竣工，5月SSST的梅兰日兰Trihal干式变压器业务正式启动。
Schneider Shihlin (Suzhou) Transformers Co., Ltd. (SSST), founded on June 27, 2002, is a joint venture by Schneider Electric and Shihlin Electric Taiwan and mainly produces 10kV, 20kV, 315kVA 3150kVA Cast Resin transformers. It uses Merlin Gerin as their brand in Mainland China while uses Shihlin for Taiwanese investors. In the first-stage, the building area is totally 6000 sq. meters. SSST broke the earth in SIP Suzhou in September, 2002, and the new building was completed in February 2003. In May 2003, SSST made her official announcement of commercial launching of Merlin Gerin Trihal cast resin transformers.
